Specialties
Somatics & Mindfulness
Through mindfulness techniques and somatic practices, I guide clients in developing skills that promote self-awareness, emotional wellness, and compassion. By integrating traditional practices rooted in Buddhist, Hindu and Ignatian traditions with contemporary approaches like biofeedback and brainwave entrainment, I help clients cultivate presence, foster healing and create a deeper connection to self.
Trauma Therapy
Trauma can leave us feeling disconnected, questioning our sense of self, and struggling to move forward. With compassion, mindfulness, and somatic techniques, we’ll work to heal old wounds and restore a sense of purpose and belonging. Together, we will explore those experiences and situations that contribute to suffering, and begin a journey toward growth, resilience, and deeper self-awareness.
Training: Lifespan Integration (Level 3)
Spirituality and Religious Deconstruction
Deconstructing spiritual beliefs, especially following religious trauma or moral injuries, can feel like an incredible challenge. Religion and spirituality are intimately connected to our sense of truth, and consequently our sense of self. There are times when it is necessary to examine these essential values and establish a sense of what they mean to us in the present. We will work together to integrate new and evolving beliefs into your life, creating a richer experience of the world around you.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
There is a growing understanding of the ways that plant medicine and man-made psychedelics can act as a bridge for healing in conjunction with psychotherapy. The tradition of entering non-ordinary states of consciousness and processing those experiences is timeless. From Salish Sweat lodges to the Eleusinian Mysteries, such rites and rituals were once an essential part of healing traditions. I help clients set intentions for these experiences and integrate insights gained into their daily life. Learn More
Note: I work with clients in non-ordinary states of consciousness within my scope of practice as a psychotherapist for therapeutic purposes. I do not condone the recreational use of illegal substances.
Brainwave Entrainment
Audio-visual brainwave entrainment (AVE) is a therapeutic tool that uses light and sound to gently guide the brain into more relaxed or focused states. By stimulating specific brainwave frequencies informed by EEG Brainwave Theory, AVE can help reduce stress, anxiety, and promote emotional regulation. This approach complements talk therapy by fostering a deeper state of calm and openness, allowing clients to access new insights and engage more fully in their healing journey.
